What’s Welcome on YourMarket
Everything sold on YourMarket must be:
Handmade
Created or designed by you — whether it’s crochet, pottery, jewellery, custom signage, embroidery, candles, or clothes. If you make it with your hands (or your heart), it belongs here.
Made by you, not made in a factory.
Homegrown
From farm to market — we welcome homegrown produce, dried herbs, seeds, plants, natural oils, or preserves made from ingredients you grow or source locally.
Think lekker jams, local biltong, raw honey, and those garden chillies that pack a punch.
Artisanal
You might not call yourself an artist, but we do. Whether you’re a baker, ceramicist, woodworker or leather crafter — if it’s a skill passed down or learned with pride, you’re at home here.
You don’t need a factory to make something world-class.
Designed and Curated
If you design or thoughtfully assemble products, you’re welcome too. Just make sure you’re adding your own unique value.
Curation is creation when it’s done with flair.
What’s Not Allowed
To keep our marketplace honest and special, the following are not allowed on YourMarket:
- Mass-produced or dropshipped items
Products bought cheaply and resold without value-adding are not allowed. - Branded knock-offs or counterfeits
That’s illegal. And not very lekker. - Commercially resold items
No buying bulk from AliExpress or Amazon to flip on YourMarket. - Mass produced Herbal or Pharmaceuticals
Whitelabelled vitamins, herbal supplements and health products
If you didn’t make it, grow it, or thoughtfully curate it — it’s not for here.
Honesty is Everything
We trust our vendors to be honest about what they’re selling. But if we receive reports or see listings that go against our creativity standards, we’ll review them and may remove the product or suspend the store.
We’re here to protect the integrity of the makers — and the trust of our buyers.
